My Experience

I visited Pamukkale early in the morning in mid-April, and it turned out to be the perfect time to go. There were practically no crowds, almost nobody else was around, which made the whole experience incredibly peaceful and allowed me to fully take in the scenery.

One of the unique things about this place is that you have to walk completely barefoot on the terraces to protect the white calcium formations. The geological structures of the travertines are fascinating to look at up close. The thermal water running through them was wonderfully warm, making it an incredibly relaxing spot. While some visitors were just dipping their feet in, others were already fully bathing in the pools.

Right at the top of the terraces, you can also explore the extensive ancient ruins of Hierapolis, which adds a great historical layer to the trip. I highly recommend Pamukkale to anyone fascinated by nature, as well as to photographers looking for unique landscapes. It is absolutely worth the entry price.
